Living single has its challenges in terms of managing time. There are a host of things that one would like to do at the same time. Say, cooking food while watching the news on television. Conventional apartments, like the one made available by my employer have their limits in offering their convenience to 'self-dooers' like me. Studio apartments can be good solution. With lesser walls things can be arranged in the way one wants. Flexibility is the name of the game. One may even sleep in the kitchen or attend guests while cooking or instruct children at the same time. The concept also saves a lot of space in this era of ever squeezing land resource.
